When feline affection turns fatal…vengeance prevails

Prepare to be captivated by another of Faye Chamberlain’s masterfully woven stories, guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and question the true nature of feline devotion.

Meet Flo, a 55-year-old Little Person who has spent most of her life, unloved, ridiculed, and forced to fend for herself and Dora, the tailless cat she rescues after it was abandoned in a devastating tornado. In a world that often turns its back on those who are different, Flo and Dora are united by their shared experiences as outcasts.

They build an unbreakable connection that will change their lives forever. But their relationship takes a dramatic turn when Dora, in her own unique and sometimes vicious way, begins to ‘take care’ of anything that upsets or hurts Flo.

‘Deadly Devotion’ is a fast-paced, heart-wrenching yet darkly humorous tale of friendship, acceptance, and the lengths a cat will go to protect the one she loves.

Will Flo and Dora’s bond survive the escalating consequences of Dora’s vengeance? And at what cost?

Note from the Author

The traits and reasons that precipitated the writing of this book came from our cat, Dora’s bipolar attitude of being nice one minute and vicious the next. We jokingly attribute her varying personality to either the split color of fur on the top of her head (good side – bad side) or that she is just frustrated that she doesn’t have a tail.

When family and friends come to visit, they all get a ferocious HISS hello. Dora has been known to hide around corners waiting for someone to walk by, then she goes into attack mode, hissing and swatting at their legs. The men, women, and children who have experienced the wrath of Dora all agreed that I should write a book about this Hell Cat. So I did.
